Terms of Service

The rules for using this site, and the honest limits of what it can tell you.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

The short version

  • This site is a guide. It is not a ticket seller, and it is not the company that runs your tour.
  • Prices, opening hours and tour details change often. Check them with the operator before you travel.
  • Every booking happens on GetYourGuide or on a partner site, under their terms, not ours.
  • We earn commission when you book through our links. It never costs you more.
  • Read the information, use it, enjoy your visit. Just do not scrape the site or pass our content off as your own.

What this site is

stonehenge-tickets.com is an independent travel guide to Stonehenge, published by a small independent operation. It compares tours, explains ticket types, sets out how to get there and covers the practical details of a visit.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The important limit: we are a publisher, not a travel agent, not a tour operator and not a ticket reseller. We do not take bookings, we do not take payment, we do not employ guides, and we do not run any of the tours described here. We are also not affiliated with English Heritage, which manages the Stonehenge site, or with any operator we write about.

When you follow a link and book, your contract is with that provider. Their terms, their cancellation policy and their customer service apply.

Affiliate disclosure

We are open about how this site is paid for, because it affects how you should read it.

  • GetYourGuide. This site is a participant in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. When you book a tour through a GetYourGuide link on this site, GetYourGuide pays us a commission.
  • Stay22. We also earn commission through Stay22 when you book accommodation with its travel partners, including Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, Vrbo and Kayak.

The price you pay is the same either way. Commission does not change what a tour costs you, and it does not buy a better write-up. Operators cannot pay for placement, for a ranking or for a favourable review. Where we compare operators we say what the differences are, including the unflattering ones.

The same money keeps the guides free and pays for the research behind them.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep this site accurate and we date our content. Facts still move faster than we can:

  • Admission prices, tour prices and booking fees change, sometimes more than once a season.
  • Opening hours, last entry times and seasonal closures change, and English Heritage sometimes closes the site at short notice.
  • Itineraries, group sizes, meeting points and what a tour includes change between departures.
  • Travel times, traffic, rail timetables and road closures change constantly.

Treat this site as research, not as a confirmation. Before you book or travel, check the price and the details with the operator or on the official English Heritage pages.

We publish information in good faith and as accurately as we can, but we cannot promise that everything on the site is current, complete or free of error, and we do not warrant that it is. If you find a mistake, we would like to hear about it and we will correct it.

Bookings, payments and refunds

No booking is made on this site. No payment is taken on this site. We do not hold your payment details and no payment form exists here.

When you click through, you leave this site and the booking is made with a third party such as GetYourGuide or an accommodation partner. That provider is responsible for the booking, the ticket, the tour, any change to it and any refund.

If something goes wrong with a booking, contact the provider you booked with. We cannot cancel, change, refund or rebook anything, because we never held the booking. If you think our content misled you, write to us and we will look at it.

Acceptable use

You are welcome to read, quote and share this site. Please do not:

  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download the site or its content. If you want the data for research, ask us first and we will usually say yes.
  • Copy substantial parts of the content and publish it as your own.
  • Remove or hide the attribution, the affiliate disclosure or these terms.
  • Interfere with the site, try to break it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to distribute malware.
  • Misrepresent yourself as this site, as its publisher, or as an operator you are not.
  • Use the site in any way that breaks the law, including UK law and the law where you are.

We may block access where the site is being abused.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, design and original graphics on this site belong to stonehenge-tickets.com. You may quote short extracts with a credit and a link. You may not republish whole pages.

Names, logos and trademarks that appear on this site, including English Heritage, GetYourGuide, Stay22, Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, Vrbo, Kayak and the operator names we cover, belong to their owners. They are used here to describe and to compare real services. Their use does not mean they endorse this site, sponsor it, or are connected with it.

Reviews and other submissions

The reader review form is closed while we finish the system behind it. When it opens, these will be the rules, and the form will link here before you submit anything:

  • You confirm the review is your own genuine experience of a tour you actually took, and that you are not connected to the operator.
  • You give us permission to publish the review, with the display name you choose, in full or edited only for length or clarity, and to keep it published.
  • We check every submission before it goes live, and we email you before publishing. We publish critical reviews as well as positive ones.
  • We may refuse or remove a review that looks fabricated, defamatory, abusive or spammy, or that we believe breaks the law.
  • You can ask us to take your review down later, and we will normally do it. We may keep a record of it for a short while after removal.

Do not send us anything you want kept confidential, and do not send personal details about anyone else.

Limitation of liability

This site is free to use and is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that the information on it is up to date.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content, including a missed tour, a wasted journey, an incorrect price, a closed site or a change made by an operator.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and liability for fraud or fraudulent misstatement. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Availability and changes

We may change, move or retire parts of this site, and we may update these terms. When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. The version on this page is the current one, and it applies from the moment you next use the site.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the consumer law in your own country, and you may still bring proceedings in your local courts.
